Password-protected PDFs are great for security, but they become inconvenient when you need to archive, merge, or annotate a document you already have lawful access to. Our decrypt tool removes the password from a PDF so you can work with it freely — provided you know the current password.

The process is straightforward: upload the encrypted PDF, enter the existing password to authenticate, and the tool strips the encryption layer. The output is a standard, unprotected PDF with all content — text, images, form fields, annotations, bookmarks — fully intact. Nothing about the document's visual appearance or structure changes; only the password requirement is removed.
